The creator behind the camera
My passion for photography came from watching my beloved mom capture all of our family’s memories over the years. I was overjoyed when I got my very own digital camera for Christmas in 2011 because I wanted to be just like her. After she passed away two years later, I found so much peace making art, spending time in nature, and capturing photos along the way. My focus was nature photography for many years, until I joined the yearbook committee in high school when I began taking portraits.
As I upgraded my camera gear over the years, my skills and love for the art of photography continued to grow. In 2025, I purchased my dream camera and put out a Facebook post to see if anyone wanted their photo taken so I could practice with it. The response was overwhelming and I ended up spending the entire summer and fall taking family photos and even wrapped up the season shooting my first weddings. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for me and this little side gig!
A little more about me!
When I’m not behind the lens, I work the night shift as an RN in the ICU. My family and I live in Mankato, MN! In my free time, you can find me crocheting or doing some other craft, watching Grey’s Anatomy for the 15th time, or chasing after our very active toddler.
